Accommodation is in clusters of bungalows and split level villas with neatly trimmed lawns and attractive gardens making the complex into an almost self-contained village. A super swimming pool is centrally located within walled gardens and there is a large, shallow paddling pool for the toddlers.
A spacious sun terrace is backed by lawns, and there are two gigantic palm trees providing natural shade. Cold drinks, ice creams and snack meals are available throughout the day from the pool-side Taco Restaurant. There is a friendly reception service, a well-stocked supermarket and a tea room/patisserie.
Individual accommodation at Aldeia do Golf is in attractive, traditionally designed villas of varying shapes and sizes. Yes it is one of the older villa complexes in a resort where new ones spring up every summer, but therein lies part of its charm. Some villas are bungalow style, others have ground plus upper floor. Each has an open plan lounge/diner with comfortable seating and dining suite. Some have an open fireplace.
They have walk-on access to a patio or veranda, and all villas lead onto a front or rear lawn. Kitchens have a cooker, oven and fridge, and each villas has a barbecue.
Bathrooms include a bath, shower, washbasin and wc – some villas have en suite facilities too. Bedrooms can be twin or double bedded with accessories. At Aldeia do Golf you will find pleasant, simple style villa accommodation at sensible prices, and as the resort appeals to smaller groups and couples, as well as families we offer prices from two people sharing a villa.
With those extensive grounds presenting an abundance of lawns, with colourful plants and flowers all around you, Aldeia do Golf is pleasing to the eye, and offers some nice local walks. That is, of course, if you have not flaked out after all that sporting activity, or descended into a total state of relaxation on one of those delightful beaches! |
