 As the beautifully landscaped resort access road meanders past the lush green fairways of Vilamoura’s Millennium Course en-route to the delightfully colourful marina, you will find it hard not to notice the yellow shuttered whitewashed villas of one of Vilamoura’s longest established and best known holiday villages. Set amidst its own neat and leafy avenues, Aldeia do Golf has a marvellous location for the sports enthusiast. It is just 500 meters from Vilamoura’s world famous Old Course (handicap certificate required) and 300 meters from the renowned Butch Harmon Golf Academy. 800 meters away you will find the Brown’s Sports and Leisure Centre. Here you can enjoy excellent sporting facilities; tennis, badminton, squash, and snooker amongst them, as well as the state-of-the-art gymnasium, plus sauna and Turkish bath.
Vilamoura Marina is three and a half kilometres from Aldeia do Golf, with its unique, striking architecture and an array of colourful gently bobbing yachts. Quay-side cafés, restaurants, ice-cream parlours and designer-label boutiques present their own brand of temptation, whilst night owls will discover some fine after-dark music bars. At the marina you will also find a range of exciting sea trips to experience, from scenic coastal tours to the thrill of Big Game Fishing, all of which can be arranged by your resident Style Holidays representative. A little over four kilometres from Aldeia do Golfe you will find the gorgeous, long sandy beaches of Tomates and Falesia on the western fringe of the marina and the marina beaches itself on the other side.
All this is pleasantly nearby, thought not near enough to walk, but Aldeia do Golf offers a three time daily courtesy bus service into Vilamoura’s, Monday through Friday. Tours are easily available, or why not take advantage of our excellent car rental rates.
